About Me

Hello there!

Let’s get the formal bit out of the way first! My name is Dee I'm 25, currently based in South Yorkshire and I live with my husband and our elderly guinea pig Marvin. I enjoy traveling and photography but that’s not what this is about. This blog is about my addiction to all things crafty. I have been crafting for a while and friends have recommended starting a blog so here we are. I have no idea what I am doing but I'm sure we can muddle through this together!

In this blog I am hoping to showcase lots of different crafts for the home, do some *fingers crossed* easy tutorials and try some new crafts. I want to show that anyone can craft and add their own personal touch to their home.

I was taught how to knit by a friend in 2011 and binged on that for a while. It was the first artistic thing I had done that had good results! I moved to the South with my husband and joined a craft group (The Chain Gang, Dorchester) where I found a lovely lady to teach me to crochet. This was the start of an ever growing repertoire of crafts I learned, to name a few; cross stitch, paper crafts and quilting.

I am hoping this will be the start of something fun, help us learn and try other new crafts together and to share my passion for all things crafty and fun!
